How to Play BEER BINGO

Use your Perfect Pint App to check in a beer that you are drinking whilst 'Down the Pub'. If that beer is on the Easy, Medium or Hard Beer Bingo cards, it will be marked off on your Beer Bingo card and points (see below) awarded.

Points
Points are awarded according to the general availability of the beers on the Beer Bingo cards. The 'Easy' Beer Bingo card contains mainly commonly served, nationally distributed beers. 'The 'Hard' Beer Bingo card may contain beers from regional or microbreweries.

EASY: 10pts per beer, 100pts per line, Full House: 2,000pts

MEDIUM: 20pts per beer, 250pts per line, Full House: 5,000pts

HARD: 30pts per beer, 500pts per line, Full House: 10,000pts
2 points are awarded for any beer, not on a Beer Bingo card that has not been checked in that season. 1 point is awarded for a previously checked in beer.
Prizes
Beer Bingo runs over 2 seasons per year:

Spring-Summer:1st March to 31st August
Autumn-Winter: 1st September to 28th February.

Please note that a maximun of 8 beers can be checked-in for any 24 hour period.

At the end of each season beer prizes are awarded to the top 10 positions in the league table. First place attracts an additional 'winners prize'.

Interim prizes are awarded to the completion of a Beer Bingo card. The first user to complete the Easy, Medium and Hards Beer Bingo Cards (quite an achievement!) is declared the overall winner. Winners are notified via email and website.

Become a Perfect Pint Beer Ambassador

Beer Ambassadors are particularly active and valuable members of the Perfect Pint community, who ensure that pubs around the UK are always up to date with their beer lists and that other Perfect Pint users, as well as themselves, can always check in their tipple of choice.

To become a Beer Ambassador, check in a ‘Beer Not Displayed’ when at the pub and, on the following screen, tap ‘Help Perfect Pint’. Here you can add a beer to the pub’s listing from the Perfect Pint database, remove a beer from the pub as well as submit a new beer to be added to our database.

Adding a beer on our database to the pub earns the user Beer Ambassador points (see below). To add a beer, type its name in the search bar at the top of the page and tap ‘Search’. Select the appropriate beer from the results. The user will then be prompted to take a picture of the beer’s pump clip on the bar (or the bottle). This is to speed up the addition process. Once the beer is submitted for addition, our diligent administrators will review and approve the addition. Once approved, the beer will be listed as ‘Available’ at the pub and you will be sent an email notification.

To remove a beer from a pub, simply tap ‘Remove’ on the ‘Help Perfect Pint’ screen next to the beer. To submit a new beer to our database, scroll to the bottom of the page and fill out the required fields for beer submission.

Points

Points are awarded once a beer addition to a pub has been approved by a Perfect Pint administrator. 10 Beer Ambassador points are awarded for a successful addition. Please note that no points are awarded for beer removals or new beer submissions to the Perfect Pint database.

Prizes

Beer Ambassadors earn prizes by reaching milestones as well as at regular intervals, where the most prolific Ambassadors for that period are rewarded. The winners are notified via email and the website.
