The Pilgrim is a long-roomed cellar bar popular with students, the Pilgrim has unusual 1950s-style booth seating and a juke-box that plays a wide selection of music from reggae to rock. It boasts a spiral staircase leading to the function room, which has its own bar. Via a covered courtyard you will find the entrance where tables and benches provide an outside drinking space. Up to four handpumps serve a selection of ales, with Phoenix beers usually available alongside others from northern breweries.

The Pilgrim provides good food at reasonable prices. Our kitchen is usually open from 11am until 7pm every day.
