The Rumburgh Buck is a CAMRA award winning freehouse with a wealth of history. It is was CAMRA Suffolk Pub of the Year for 2012 an award it also won in 2007. It has been listed in the Good Beer Guide every year since 2005 and is also listed in CAMRA's East Anglian Inventory of Outstanding and Historic Interiors. The Buck has a wealth of history with a beer house in the village since the 12th century the current building is 17th century and has original stone floors, beams and wood panelled walls. There are six individual rooms each with its own atmosphere, and as West Suffolk CAMRA described a pub that is "All Things to All People". Landlords since Sept 2002 are Kate and Gary Cornthwaite, they open the pub 7 days a week 11.45-2.45pm lunchtimes and 6.30-11.00pm in the evenings, home cooked lunches and evening meals are also served 7 days a week from 12-2pm and 7-9pm. There are always a choice of 5 well kept Real Ales available one of which is Gravity Fed, and 5 Real Ciders are also available Gravity Fed.
The Buck has two dining areas, one which seats up to 20 and another seats 16. Home cooked lunches and evening meals are served 12-2pm lunchtimes and 7-9pm in the evening 7 days a week. A traditional Roast lunch is available on sundays from 12-2pm and there is always a choice of two roast meats. A Two Course Lunch Special is also available Monday to Friday lunchtimes from 12-2pm.
