Banks's Brewery1890
Formed as The Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries Ltd in May 1890 following the amalgamation of four local breweries this brewer is a major player in the real ale market. It also owns Marstons and brews beers under the Hanson's name following an earlier takeover. Took over Jennings during 2005. On 8th January 2007 it changed it name to the current one. Took over Ringwood Brewery in July 2007. Took over Refresh UK, and henceforth the Wychwood and Brakspear brands, in March 2008. |
